AMAZ Women’s Organic Coffee is produced by a group of 30 women farmers from Amazonas and Cajamarca - many of whom come from long coffee-growing families. Most began working in coffee as teenagers, later taking ownership of their own parcels and organizing to improve quality, gain access to better markets and highlight the role of women in their communities. AMAZ supports NUevo AManecer (NUAM), an educational support center for children in rural coffee-growing areas.
