Norden Brugga is a partnered effort with Cincinnati roaster Pneuma Coffee and Norden Supporter group. At Pneuma we believe in breathing life into communities near and far and this partnership does exactly that. When you purchase this coffee you are breathing life into our local community through a $2 per bag donation to Reach Out Lakota, Norden’s charity partner. At the same time you are breathing life into a small family farm in Guatemala through Pneuma’s direct relationship with Arcenio Villatoro and his family.
About Norden Supporter Group
Norden Supporter Group was established in December 2017 as a way of connecting fans and families in the Northern Suburbs to the larger FC Cincinnati community. The Norden are family friendly and inclusive of all soccer interests. As protectors of the "Northern Wall,” they descend on the TQL Stadium in the West End in support of our Orange and Blue.
About the Producer
After a childhood spent on his father’s coffee farm in La Libertad, Huehuetenango, Arcenio Villatoro carried the dream of owning his own farm. In 2007, he purchased land in the town of Cuilco and began to produce his own coffee there with the help of his wife and three children. With many years of experience in coffee, the Villatoro family continues to refine their harvesting and processing methods. Multiple Villatoro lots, although from different farms, have won awards for Guatemala’s cup of excellence. We began our relationship with the Villatoro family in 2021 when we purchased the Punta del Cerro lot, produced by Arcenio’s son Jenner.
